Demo: Credit top-ups

This checkout is in test mode: you can try everything, but no real payment will be taken.

Top up your account and spend it whenever you like. Credit never expires unless the shop says so, and what you get is not always what you pay.

Demonstrates: the same override the membership checkout shows. This page is set to "optional", and the checkout demands an account anyway, because credit lives on a customer record and a guest top-up would credit an account nobody can reach.

Credit is spent at the checkout like any other payment method, and it settles on the spot: no bank, no waiting.

Choose your product
  • Top up a hundred euro and pay ninety.

Demonstrates: the whole point of selling credit -- the amount credited is configured, not derived from the price. This line costs 90,00 and adds 100,00 to the balance. Read the price instead and this product becomes impossible, which is why it has its own field.

  • The big one. Two hundred and fifty euro of credit for two hundred and ten.

Demonstrates: one per order (min and max both 1). Not a technical limit but a commercial one: the deepest discount is a welcome offer, not a wholesale channel.

  • Fifty euro of credit on your account, spend it whenever you like.

Demonstrates: product type credits at face value: pay 50, get 50. The amount credited is its own field and not the price, which is what the next two products show off.

  • An apron, a scraper and a starter, plus ten euro to spend in the shop.

Demonstrates: the credit delivery action on a product that is not a credits product. `params.delivery_extra` adds the action and `params.credits.credit_amount` says how much, so any product can hand out credit as a bonus. That is why crediting is its own plugin rather than a feature of the credits product type.
